Penllergaer is Autism Aware!
Penllergaer Primary is an autism aware school and has ASD Aware status.
The LEARNING WITH AUTISM PRIMARY SCHOOL AWARD:
- all governors, teaching and support staff have completed the ‘ASD Aware’ scheme
- all other support staff (including admin staff and governors) have completed the ‘ASD Aware’ scheme
- the majority of KS2 pupils have signed the Autism Superhero Charter
- practice has changed in our school.
Autism Awareness Week 2020
We are entering World Autism Awareness Week in different times to that which we had expected, thanks to so many people’s resilience there is much to be joyous about. There are lots of autism awareness learning resources to help support pupils from home and raise awareness this week:
